The Davis theories and procedures were developed through trial and error by Ron Davis, himself a dyslexic, not to explain the nature of the problem, but to discover how it could be corrected.
The Solution
The Davis methods show the individual how to use the gift to resolve existing confusion and fill in the blanks. They are provided with a mental 'on/off' switch to enable them to perceive accurately, making it easier to focus attention on written material.
Clay is used as a 3D medium to make models of the basic symbols of reading and writing. For the dyslexic, the creative process is essential to understanding and learning.

Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program is suitable for children and adults who are experiencing learning challenges such as reading, writing and comprehension:
- Interview/assessment
- 1 week long (30 hours) one-on-one with the facilitator
- Training for a family member or tutor for support at home
- EXTRA, Dyslexia Vancouver also includes 10 follow-up tutoring sessions with this program
- 3 review sessions
- Continued email and phone consultation with the facilitator
- Materials required for post program follow up
Davis Math MasterySM Program is suitable for students and adults who are experiencing challenges in math:
