Young learners deserve the best start we can give them. Strong research evidence suggests that children who are exposed to Davis methods at pre-reading or elementary school level (age 5-8) benefit in the following ways:

  • Highly unlikely to develop a learning difficulty

  • Develop self confidence in their ability to learn

  • Their basic word recognition will be among the highest levels expected for their age group

The Davis® Reading Program for Young Learners is an individualized learning enhancement program. Sue will work directly with your child and at the same time provide hands-on training and guidance to you or another family member. Through the unique partnership philosophy of the program the parent gains the skills needed to provide the child with ongoing support.

The 25-30 hour program is provided 3 hours a day over 2 weeks. The goal is to give children aged 5-8 the best possible start at the outset of their learning career. The program provides:

  • Lifelong learning skills and self regulation tools

  • Mental focussing and attention techniques

  • The conceptual skills needed to develop reading fluency and comprehension

  • Mastery of letters, punctuation marks, and teaches the techniques to master the common sight words.

A recent client’s experience with this program…

“Thank you so much for everything you have given M and I over the last two weeks.

You have given M new tools which will help him grow and flourish in a world that sees so little compared to what our special little guys are able to see.

You have also given M another special gift, you have given this mother understanding - that is no small thing!

I once heard that behind every great man is a great woman. At this age it’s his mother, and now also you, and we will both cheer him on to greatness, instead of me standing to the side scratching my head just trying to figure out my little fellow.

You are awesome Sue, and so is Davis!” ~ Client’s mother
