The Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program is a hands on, creative approach suitable for individuals who, despite being bright and intelligent, experience challenges and anxiety in some of the following areas:


Who is this program for?

This program is suitable for adults of any age, profession, or level of education who are experiencing difficulties in some of the following areas:

Do you often feel anxious, and stressed when confronted with:

  • spelling

  • reading - accuracy and comprehension

  • writing and written output

  • organizational skills

  • poor working memory or auditory processing

  • coordination problems (Dyspraxia)

  • visual processing

  • difficulty with focusing and staying on task

What to expect:

After working through our one-on-one Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program you will be able to:

  • trust in your ability to learn and contribute

  • read reports, emails, books and understand what you have read

  • communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

  • structure your writing and produce work that reflects your knowledge

  • listen and retain information, remember conversations

  • spell with ease

  • feel confident in yourself and your abilities

  • improve your handwriting​

 

What does the program involve and how does it work?

The Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program consists of:

  • minimum of 30 hours of one-to-one facilitation with training training for a family member (or friend) support

  • personalized attention given to your learning needs and goals by addressing the cause of dyslexic challenges

  • all materials required for the program and for home-based follow-up work

  • 3 post-programme sessions with the facilitator

  • continued email and phone consultation with the facilitator, as required

Following the Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program you’ll be provided with:

  • All materials required for the program and for the ongoing follow up work

  • Training for family or friend for follow up work

  • Program documents, referral forms and information

  • Three, 2 hour post program review sessions with the facilitator

  • Continued email and phone support with facilitator, as required
